Kevin Keegan: "I will tell the players only to win - I don't even want to think about defeat, it's a game we want to win.

"The mood has been excellent and there is plenty of people who care at this club.

"There's a lot of good thing here. We can't do anything about the games that have gone but we can do something about this one.

"It's a big game, Steve Harper said Birmingham was one of the biggest games in recent history which is quite a statement but he wasn't far wrong.

"We didn't lose and got a point now Fulham is a chance to build on that. When you start winning it's contagious, losing is the same.

"The players stuck at it and did little things to stop us from going 2-0 behind on Monday.

"In earlier games that hasn't been the case, once you come in at half-time 2-0 down it's a massive gap to turn around.

"At half-time we had a chance to regroup and have a chat. And in the second half the performance was as good an away performance you could hope to get.

"If we do that at home we've every chance of getting a result.

"Fulham have took four points from the last two games and went to Blackburn and took a deserved point.

"They've beat Everton at home and everybody knows how tough that is, you have to respect that.

"The reality is now that we are trying to win the mini league down at the bottom.

"It's not the way everybody wanted it at the start of the season but it is where we are.

"We are focused on that and as far as Birmingham goes, it was a good start but we have to build on that. If we cannot then it will be a waste of time.

"I want another Blackburn type performance at home. Although we lost we played very well and we deserved to win.

"We're a team that needs a victory and have done for a long while. I can see there is a determination from the players."
