If Terry Wins Court Case Will FA Stand Down?

Whatever happened to the foundations our British Law was built on - INNOCENT until proven GUILTY?

So the FA have nailed their colours to the mast ... but what would happen if John Terry won his case?

If Harry Redknapp can have a bank account in Monte Carlo in his dog's name; admit to a national newspaper (recorded on tape) that it was money from a transfer and no tax had been paid; and GET AWAY with it ... don't rule out Terry getting the result in court he wants.

He has been on trial by the FA, and they have given their verdic, so just say the Chelsea defender walks from court innocent.

Should the entire 14-man FA committee resign?

I think that has to be the case! How can they go against a court decision?

And talking of Harry "The Bung" ... he admits he would consider taking the England manager's job but insists he will not be able to combine the role with his current position as Tottenham boss.

The Football Association are meeting today to draw up a shortlist for the vacant position after Fabio Capello resigned on Wednesday.

The FA are keen to appoint an English or British manager, and Redknapp is overwhelming favourite for the position.

The 64-year-old, who has taken Tottenham from relegation candidates to title contenders in little over three years, was keen to emphasise again today that he is only thinking about his current job at Spurs but admitted he would consider replacing Capello if the FA came calling.

Redknapp said: "It wouldn't be easy (leaving Spurs). It would be very difficult.

"I'm happy, but if the opportunity comes, and I get asked, I'll have to consider it."
