Ian Holloway: "I believe in the boy, he helped me last year, if you look at his record he's scored one in two even in the Premiership but that was coming off the bench, I want to give him a run of games at that level and I think he'll score because his record tells me he will.

"Last year we felt we could go to Newcastle and give a good account of ourselves; we were on a fantastic run of form and yet they turned us over quite comfortably.

"We're going to go there with a positive attitude we're going to try our best.

"I know what we got wrong at Newcastle last time, we didn't test their back four anything like as much, we passed it back into midfield over and over again, we lost it and they hurt us."

"We're going to go there and try and give our fans something to cheer about which we didn't do last year."
