Bridges, who plays for and is assistant coach of A-League side Newcastle Jets in Australia, pulled goalkeeper Mark Birighitti away after his training ground fight with defender Taylor Regan.

The incident is thought to have taken place after a ball was accidentally thrown into the back of Birighitti’s head.
