Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifying campaign is not going very well, but he hopes they get inspired, starting tonight against San Marino at Windsor Park.

Aaron Hughes: "Everyone in the dressing room motivates themselves. Everyone knows what their job is and what is expected of them.

"I am captain of the side but that does not mean to say I am the only one that speaks.

"We have a lot of senior players, a lot of guys with caps and experience, who have something to say.

"Even the young lads coming through are not afraid to speak their mind, so I do not feel any extra responsibility in that sense.

"Two of those games were away and we know what we are capable of at home.

"The campaign is by no means over as there are going to be twists and turns in the coming months. We are still upbeat."
