So much so, Viana has gone as far as to say Ronaldo won't be staying at Manchester United "much longer" because his ambitions are in Spain.
Barcelona or Real Madrid have been asking questions of the youngster in recent weeks, probing to see where he wants to live out his dream.
And according to former Newcastle winger Viana, Manchester United are "not big enough" for Ronaldo! Now let's be honest here ... we don't like the buggers ourselves, but "not big enough" is pushing the boat out.
Viana: "He won't be at United for much longer. It's complicated for them to keep him now.
"Ronaldo has worked hard and, within a little time, he will be with another team more important than United.
"Everyone knows if teams like Barca and Madrid want a player, they end up signing him. He's very modest but, in every way, we know he'd like to come."
