Dyer set for Saints return

The England midfielder underwent hospital tests to try and find the source of the problem and doctors reached the conclusion that it wasn’t serious.

Dyer has resumed light training and will take the place of either Nobby Solano or Michael Chopra at St Mary’s.

Despite intensive examinations, doctors were unable to find any explanation for Dyer’s failure to find the target for the last ten months. Reports suggesting that his ability to score off the pitch is inversely proportional to his record on it are still unconfirmed.
