Diatta Set For Toon Debut!

Shola Ameobi launched a Newcastle fightback in front of senior boss Kevin Keegan watched as the reserves snatched an unlikely 2-2 draw at Bolton.

2-0 down, Shola Ameobi struck with a late header before substitute Wesley Ngo Baheng clinched a point deep into injury time.

Keegan, Terry McDermott and Chris Hughton were among the crowd at the County Ground to watch Diatta and the Toon boss said: "He is now ready for the squad on Saturday".

The 32-year-old former Besiktas defender lined up alongside Peter Ramage, who was making his return from a knee ligament injury which has sidelined him since August.
