Cabaye Rules Out Newcastle Return In January

Cabaye moved to Paris Saint German at the start of the year, after going on strike at Newcastle and refusing to play in three games.

But the star of St James'Park has failed to make the same impact in the French capital.

Cabaye has started only 15 league games games in ten months and was replaced against Lorient on Saturday after another poor performance.

The French club have suggested he will be loaned out in January, and Cabaye has made it known he misses the Premier League.

But he will attract the attention of Liverpool and Arsenal, who both tried to sign him last year.

He wanted to get away from Newcastle and it was messy the way he conducted business with PSG.

Suggesting he won't be returning to the English game wearing black and white.

Former PSG player Christophe Jallet told the French press this week: “You must be an assured character to succeed at PSG. Yohan has it but doesn’t show it enough every day.”

Which is strange in itself, considering the English league is widely regarded as the toughest in Europe ... certainly a higher quality than in France.

If PSG do sell him, they can expect getting considerably less than the £20million they paid for him in January.

Cabaye left Newcastle in blistering form, with one Newcastle reporter claiming he was the best Toon midfielder since Tony Green.
