Gael Bigirimana: “It’s a dream.

“When we were drawn against Man United, I said it was a really good draw.

“The club is massive, and it’s a dream for every kid to play at the stadium.

“I just hope the manager will bring me on or start me. If I come on for five minutes, it’ll still be a dream come true.

“At the of the day, we just want to give a good performance.

“These are the games you want to test yourself in, and see if you need to improve and learn from the opponents.

“You just want to suck the atmosphere in. We all dream of playing against Man United. I want more of this.

“It’s great for the squad that we’re in these cups – it’s exciting.

“There are a lot of young players here, and they all want a chance. It’s a great opportunity for us as young footballers to play regularly.

“It’s a great season for the young guys at the club.

“You want to make your mark on the manager’s mind, and make your point.

“When it comes to next season, he’ll know he can trust you, and he doesn’t have to worry if you’re going to perform or not.

“It’s been a dream – it’s been ridiculous in a good way. I didn’t think I’d have played as many games as I have, but it’s thanks to the manager, who has put his trust in me.

“I’ve got to trust every decision the manager makes – he knows what’s best for me. I’ve just got to trust him and keep working hard.”
