Hatem Ben Arfa: "I feel great satisfaction to have reached that priority objective, and I want to express my great gratitude to all people who supported me.

"Those 18 months without French team (football) has been an eternity. Since I have played football I have a special relationship with that shirt which I wore with youth teams.

"But at the moment I am thinking of my friend Bacary Sagna. Despite being in great shape, he will not play at the Euros due to a serious fibula fracture. I wish him all the best.

"I will go to the Euros with a lot of humility and collective ambition. The team must have big faith in its chances because the competition is quite open."
