Ashley Has No Other Choice - Sack Wise And Bring Back Keegan!

Obviously the new owners will be well aware that the quickest way to win over the support is to re-appoint Keegan, but that won't happen until Dennis Wise gets oooot of toon.

And it is ironic that it is executive director of football ... Dennis Wise ... who is the man fronting the manager hunt!

With Ashley happy to flog his Toon shirt and probably start supporting Manchester United next week (after all, he's supported just about every other team) ... Wise is currently Public Enemy No 1.

Wise will be running the show WHOEVER comes in, and he sees it a lot easier to persuade one of his friends to take the flak for whatever goes wrong.

The means either Gustavo Poyet or Paul Ince. Or perhaps Vinny Jones is available, who knows?

Poyet has long been a Wise "yes man",  but he does not fancy coming to a club that is in turmoil.

All of that leaves is Chris Hughton, who seems in line to remain in charge indefinitely, along with Academy director Richard Money and coach Alan Thompson.

But why doesn't Ashley suddenly make himself Mr Popular ... and sack Wise and bring back Keegan?

That would solve EVERY problem - please the fans and most important ... the team.

Or is that TOO simple a solution?
