Anita - A Jonah Or A Lost Cause?

The Dutch midfielder has not the starting line-up since the first half of the 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur, when United were ran ragged.

It was only after Pardew switched the play and took him off that we got back into the game.

Since Anita was dropped we have rocketed up the league, and never looked back.

Moussa Sissoko is back from suspension so is there any need to put us through the pain barrier with the little Dutchman.

Was White Hart Lane not enough proof that the former Ajax player is not Premier League class?

Alan Pardew (talking to Sky TV): “Maybe it was a day for Vurnon Anita to be really solid for us.

“But we tried to be ambitious and if that’s a fault we’ll have to accept that.

“It’s a big week. We look forward to the quarter-final of the cup.

“It’s something that we need to win at this football club in terms of a trophy, so we will be up for that and then the derby, which is always interesting.”
