The Tims striker is (allegedly) "hot property" having bagged 15 goals in all competitions against part-time sides up in the Highlands of Bonnie Scotland this season.
A newspaper reports today: "speculation about his future is sure to mount during the January transfer window having already been linked with Newcastle."
But the 23-year-old, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2014, has recently spoken of his wish to discuss a new deal with the club and is focused on firing Celtic to their first SPL title since 2008.
As Alan Pardew insisted today: "We will NOT be signing a striker in the January transfer window" ... it seems poor Hooper will NOT be heading to Newcastle.
