And I find it amazing that Glenn Roeder says he still hasn't decided if he is going to offer the powerful centre-back another contract. What is he waiting for? With three games left of a FIVE YEAR career Roeder still cannot decide if the defender is Premiership standard.

Bramble returned to the side in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea at the weekend for the first time since the Uefa Cup exit against AZ Alkmaar.

Roeder has suggested a new contract could still be offered to the 25-year-old but The Journal understands the former England Under-21 international is resigned to the fact he will be playing elsewhere next season.

Several clubs have expressed an interest in signing him on a free transfer, but at the end of the day it is Bramble who will make a decision where he goes next ... not Roeder.

Tottenham Hotspur are the latest Premiership side to be linked, along with Portsmouth, but Fulham have cooled on a deal since the sacking of manager Chris Coleman earlier this month.
