2 enforced plus one more change for Norwich clash
Eddie Howe will take to the home dugout at St James’ Park for the first time tonight and he has made three changes to his starting eleven for the second game in a row.
Two of the changes are enforced with both Matt Ritchie and Jamaal Lascelles ruled out due to suspension, Emil Krath also makes way. In come Jamal Lewis and Javier Manquillo with Ciaran Clark also getting the nod ahead of Federico Fernandez to step in for Lascelles at the heart of the defence.
Norwich make two changes to the side that earned a draw against Wolves at the weekend. The Canaries have picked up four points from two games since Dean Smith took over as manager and the are three points ahead of Newcastle going into tonight’s game.
