10 Cup Finals Or Life On Easy Street For Toon?

Last updated : 10 March 2014 By Footy Mad - Editor

I'm sure Toon fans will agree, our season ended back in January with that home defeat to Cardiff City in the FA Cup.

But I'd rather have my feet up watching the Magpies coast through the final third of the season rather experience the relegation dog-fight we suffered last term.

Leave the worrying to the Mackems.

Tim Krul: “I think the two wins have been fantastic.

“You want to play in the three days - we want to keep this run going - but it’ll give us a nice rest, and we can kick on from there.

“Hopefully, this has kick-started our season again.

“There are no easy games. We see it as 10 cup finals.

“We’ve got everything to play for. We can look up again, and that’s really nice.

“We’ve had a rough patch. I’ve said it before, the Premier League has everything - massive highs and massive lows, unfortunately.

“That’s what the Premier League is about. It’s 38 games - a long, long season - and we’ve got 10 games to go.

“There are still a lot of points to play for.”
